Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Property Solicitor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload of commercial property matters, providing specialist advice to clients across various sectors, including retail, industrial, and development. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Provide expert legal advice to a range of clients, including landlords, tenants, developers, and investors, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Transaction Handling: Manage a full caseload of commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and development projects, from inception to completion.
  • Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents, ensuring they meet clients needs and comply with current regulations.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, including title reviews, searches, and enquiries, to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Business Development: Play an active role in business development initiatives, including networking, attending events, and building long-term relationships with clients and referrers.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and the firm's policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 3 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) in commercial property law.
  • Experience: Proven track record of handling a broad range of commercial property matters, with experience in managing complex transactions independently.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of current property law, regulations, and market trends. Familiarity with local market dynamics is an advantage.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Client Focus: Commitment to delivering outstanding client service, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • IT Proficiency: Competent in using legal software and MS Office applications.
