Role Overview:SMART EDUCATION is seeking a Pastoral Support Professional to provide additional assistance within primary and high schools in Birmingham. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students' well-being and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the sixth-form area.
  • Offering one-to-one and group support to students with pastoral needs.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for pastoral concerns.
  • Completing essential administrative tasks to support the pastoral team.
  • Maintaining attendance records and addressing poor attendance.
  • Collaborating with school staff to promote a positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • At least 6 months of experience in pastoral support roles and working within a school setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive, empathetic approach to supporting students.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Details of the Role:

  • Salary: £85.23–£105.21 per day, depending on experience.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only.
  • Location: Pershore.
  • Start Date: Spring 1, initially.
  • Interviews: Immediate availability for interviews.
