Our client, a leading construction company based in Perth, Scotland are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join the design team which is currently at 4 members of staff. Having been established for over 40 years our client is looking for an Architectural Technologist who has experience working on commercial / industrial projects typically up to 10 million in value.
Architectural Technologist Salary & Benefits
- Salary 30,000 to 38,000 DOE
- Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:15pm Friday 8:30am to 4:30 pm
- Company Pension
- 28 days holiday
Architectural Technologist Job Overview
- Develop comprehensive technical drawings for each phase of the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the preparation, submission, and tracking of Planning and Warrant Applications, ensuring timely processing and proactive follow-ups to expedite approvals.
- Liaise with clients to confirm that proposed designs are both functional and tailored to their specific requirements while aligning with project objectives.
- Work closely with team members and external consultants to ensure all project elements are coordinated and adhere to established standards.
- Uphold a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all project documentation and design outputs.
Architectural Technologist Job Requirements
- 3+ Years' Experience as an Architectural Technician / Technologist
- Industrial / Commercial Project Experience
- Strong foundation in steel portal frame design
- Proficient in AutoCAD
