Job Title: Administrator (Quality) - Part Time

16 hours a week, working on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Responsibilities:

  • Review production documentation for timely product release.
  • Manage stock in our inventory system (SAP).
  • Assist in preparing and communicating Quality Department metrics.
  • Participate in internal audits to maintain quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve process efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate document management using MasterControl software.
  • Receive training and mentorship to develop QA skills.
  • Support various Quality Management System activities.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Our client, a bustling site in Perth, Scotland, is seeking an administrator to join their quality team. They specialise in microbiological media production and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance in their industry. As the Quality Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of production data before distribution to customers. This is an entry-level position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow in the quality assurance field while contributing to ISO, MDR, and IVDR compliance standards.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ideally have 2 years' experience in a corporate environment, preferably an organisation certified to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or other international standard.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards preferred.
  • Internal auditing training/experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to production documentation/SOPs beneficial.

Skills:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with MasterControl and/or SAP advantageous.
