We are working with a leading contractor in the rail and civil engineering sector who is currently seeking a Sub Agent to join their growing team in Perth. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of civil and rail projects while contributing to the successful delivery of regional asset maintenance works.About the RoleThe Sub Agent will play a critical role in managing civil engineering and rail projects across the Perth region. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Sub Agent will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Projects typically include roads, bridges, tunnels, flood alleviation, rail platforms, and embankments.Key Responsibilities- Overseeing the daily management of various civil and rail projects- Ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation, contract terms, and health and safety plans- Managing project budgets and timelines- Monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments- Liaising with site staff and surveyors to ensure project delivery within tender allowances- Reporting on contract progress to senior management- Identifying and managing contract changes effectivelyRequirements:- Previous experience in a similar capacity- SMSTS and PTS certifications- A Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience- Experience in delivering multi-disciplinary civil infrastructure projects- Flexibility to work day or night shifts as requiredWhat's on Offer- Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience)- Company car or car allowance- Consistent learning opportunities and clear pathways for career progressionJoin a supportive and growing team in an organisation dedicated to creating a safe and professional environment, where personal and professional development is a priority.
