Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the full range of plant and material handling and access equipment supplied across a diverse customer base covering but not limited to Agriculture, Construction, Timber, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing.
Responsibilities • Further relationships with existing customers.• Generating and developing new business sales opportunities.• Provide technical advice and solutions tailored to customer’s requirements.• Carry out detailed site surveys to identify equipment specifications.• Develop comprehensive proposals and present your recommendations to customers through meetings and presentations.• Liaise with Manufacturers and attend training courses to develop product knowledge.
Job requirements/key skills• Be highly motivated with good interpersonal skills.• Professional attitude/attention to detail.• Willingness to learn/develop commercial and business awareness.• Excellent communicator.• Strong negotiation skills and an ability to develop solid business argument.• Effective planning and organisation skills• PC literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• A full clean UK drivers’ licence is required.• Proven sales record in a similar environment would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
