Are you an Events Coordinator with experience organising large events and able to commit to a fixed term contract until the end of June 2025?

We are working with an established international investment business based from offices in Perth, who are looking to appoint an Events Coordinator to oversee the organisation of a significant business event taking place in June 2025. You will join a small and friendly team based in a satellite office where the work is fast paced and it will be expected that you can hit the ground running immediately.

This role is expected to be part time initially (2 / 3 days per week) building up to full time from April for the remainder of the fixed term contract.

You will have support from the Head PA in the office, but it will be expected that you will take on responsibility for all matters involved in organising this even (for 400 delegates) and report back on progress on a weekly / fortnightly basis.

As Events Coordinator, duties include:

  • Managing the online portal for ticket allocations / sales.
  • Liaise with venue regularly regarding event details and updates that are required.
  • Coordinating the seating plan for the event.
  • Liaising with confirmed event speakers and entertainers to ensure they have all the information they require for the event.
  • Organise accommodation and transportation for those that require.
  • Any ad-hoc administration to do with the event as required.

We are looking for someone who will be able to commit to the duration of this contract and has previous experience organising events of this scale. You may be from a PA background or perhaps you have worked in the hospitality sector, we are keen to consider a range of backgrounds for this role.

Strong IT and communication skill are essential as is the ability to prioritise your own workload.
