Job Description:
Major Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Telehandler Operator for one of our main clients in Stanley, Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company specializing in new build housing. The successful candidate will start this Monday, with a competitive pay rate ranging from 18 to 22 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate the telehandler on a busy construction site
- Assist with the movement and placement of materials as required
- Work closely with site management and other trades to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the telehandler
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for telehandler operation
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites, preferably within the new build housing sector
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic
