Base Location: Perth / Glasgow

Salary: £350-400 per day

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week / Full time

Duration: 3 Months

Key Responsibilities

- Key member of the Operations Support Team assisting the leadership and Renewables IT teams on all things related to the smooth running of the department

- Supporting the Portfolio Coordinator(s) with the day to day financials for all teams. Laser-focus cost management, tracking monthly actuals v forecasts

- General accounting experience and financial fundamentals

-Supporting the teams with raising Purchase Orders, receipting, financial queries, tracking and supporting the budget cycle process

- Being able to support teams by continued improvement of various reports including KPIs, and monitoring team compliance in all areas

- Supporting the Joiner, Mover, Leavers process and the great service wrapper around this for the full team from onboarding, induction and offboarding

- Supporting the Leadership team for the various key workshops, meetings and organisation of the same

- Supporting the team with the administration of time allocation systems

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Excellent Organisation, communications skills and ability to prioritise

- Proficient in MS Office suite skills, in particular Excel

- Familiarity with Agile ways of working and ideally Azure Devops/Jira

-Collaborations skills and problem solving to help get things done by sharing processes and implementing local improvements

- Driven and delivery focused to support a wide range of stakeholders to help get things done, being flexible and proactive to support the team

- Good financial understanding of month end processing, raising purchase orders and budget cycle process

- Proficient in all O365 products with PowerBI/SharePoint O365 including PowerApps and Forms and other reporting tools as a bonus.

- Knowledge of key SSE Corporate Systems or Finance systems such as (Oracle eBusiness suite, Harmony, I-Buy etc)
