Excellent opportunity for someone from a Town Planning background who is looking to take the next step in their career by being a key part of a leading company offering great progression opportunities.

This company has a massive portfolio of properties and clients spreading across the UK as well as further afield internationally. They are an independent business focusing particularly on land and property management, and they are looking to expand their specialist divisions to support their framework projects in the area.

In this role will support their utilities, land management and forestry teams to secure statutory consents for operational developments and advise colleagues and clients on planning matters and rural planning issues across Scotland. Hybrid working is offered with this role.

The ideal candidate will be a member of the RTPI and hold relevant town planning experience from a utilities, rural or land management background. This role would suit someone who is driven by progression and career development.

The Role: * Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies* Lead and manage planning projects, providing experience advice and guidance to clients* Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals and negotiating with local authorities and stakeholders* Staying updated on relevant planning legislation and policy changes

The Person: * Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)* Previous experience in a planning role* Strong understanding of UK planning laws and regulations* Full UK Driving licence
