Our client is looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal in Perth

Client Details

A leading law firm

Description

  • Drafting legal documents;
  • Assisting with a large caseload;
  • Supporting Fee Earners with the day to day running of files;
  • Utilising case management software and familiarity with conveyancing case management systems is desirable;
  • Dealing with ordering routine property searches;
  • Dealing with post completion and exchange of contract matters;
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork;
  • Creating and amending property related documentation;
  • Production of routine correspondence;
  • Liaising with Solicitors and other estate agents/ mortgage brokers;
  • Taking instructions from Solicitor for sale and purchase files;
  • Liaising with Clients;
  • Supporting the senior Conveyancer with their Conveyancing caseload;
  • Carrying out property searches;
  • Updating the case management system.

Profile

  • Working knowledge of Conveyancing;
  • Knowledge of conveyancing or finance legal practice is a plus;
  • good communication skills with the confidence to liaise openly and clearly with colleagues and clients;
  • Experience of working in a legal environment;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to personal development;
  • Working knowledge of computers and software with good keyboard skills;
  • the ability to produce a high standard of work, sometimes under pressure, whilst maintaining accuracy and good attention to detail;
  • Practical experience of handling client enquiries both face to face and by telephone;
  • Experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal.
