We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our busy distribution facility. In this role, you will ensure the efficient storage, handling, and distribution of our wide range of products, all while maintaining the highest safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including Good In, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Manage inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels across various categories.
  • Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and compliance with relevant regulations and certifications.
  • Implement and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) systems to ensure optimal product freshness.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for smooth and efficient operations.
  • Optimise warehouse layout and processes to maximise efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Manage warehouse maintenance, cleanliness, and operational standards.
  • Analyse and generate operational reports to identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, ideally within distribution.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including HACCP principles.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory control practices.
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Understanding of temperature-controlled storage requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • CILT or similar logistics qualification.
  • Previous experience within the food distribution industry.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures.
  • Experience working in a family-owned business environment is a plus.
