The Role

As a Product Development Engineer, you'll lead and support technical projects, develop new materials and processes, and collaborate with teams across Continuous Improvement, Quality, Production, and Engineering. You'll also provide laboratory services, conduct feasibility studies, and explore emerging technologies to enhance existing products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead R&D activities in product and process development projects.
  • Perform laboratory testing, including microscopic analysis, material strength testing, and product life evaluation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external resources to drive innovation.
  • Continuously develop your expertise and share knowledge to improve tools, methods, and processes.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

About You

You have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant role (manufacturing, R&D, engineering, chemistry).
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and New Product Development methodologies.
  • Strong data analysis and statistical skills (Excel proficiency; SolidWorks and Minitab are advantageous).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A curious, analytical mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
