Are you a dynamic and organised individual with a strong background in sales administration? Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Sales Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the success of a thriving organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound inquiries, ensuring accurate information is logged in the CRM system for follow-up by the sales team.
  • Take ownership of outstanding offers and demo loans, proactively following up with customers and supporting the sales team in tracking ongoing enquiries.
  • Record warranty requests and allocate them to the Quality & Sales team, ensuring comprehensive information is available in the CRM database.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through interaction with potential clients within targeted areas, closely collaborating with the VP of Sales for guidance.
  • Foster effective communication with internal departments on a daily basis.
  • Liaise with transport carriers and possess knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the VP of Sales or any other team member.

Skills & Person Attributes Required:

  • Strong sales administration background with a thorough understanding of the sales process.
  • Confident and outgoing personality, comfortable engaging with customers via phone and email.
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to create and interpret sales metrics.
  • Experience performing support analytics using Excel, ERP, and CRM reports.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems, preferably Zoho, as well as proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
