Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Responsibilities:
Our client, a manufacturing organisation based in Perth, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team in Inveralmond. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, packaging, and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods, and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate Reach Truck and Counterbalance trucks.
- Pick orders for dispatch and perform quality checks on all products.
- Maintain quality and service standards in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines, following production standards.
- Conduct stock counts as required and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Replenish stocks from deliveries, ensuring proper rotation.
- Unload incoming deliveries and report any damaged panels or discrepancies to management.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance trucks in a warehouse setting. You must be capable of adhering to manual handling procedures and maintaining high levels of quality and cleanliness in your work.
Working as part of their team, you will be expected to contribute to the overall business objectives of our client.
Requirements:
- Safe and efficient use of Reach Truck and Counterbalance trucks.
- Prior experience picking orders for dispatch.
- Ability to conduct quality checks on products.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Knowledge of manual handling procedures.
- Basic computer skills for stock counting purposes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Please note that this is a temporary position with a full-time working pattern, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
