Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
What you'll be doing
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Support the team in completing month-end and year-end processes, including preparation for audits, preparation of journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review general ledger entries.
About you
- Previous experience working within a transactional finance team
- AAT qualification or actively studying towards.
- Good understanding of excel and accounting systems
- Proactive, self motivated and keen to develop within a strong team
