This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team specialising in audit and assurance for a diverse client base. You'll work with organisations across various sectors, including not-for-profits, professional services, manufacturing, and retail, with turnovers ranging from £1m to £25m. The role offers variety, exposure to different industries, and the chance to grow alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead smaller, less complex assignments on-site, resolving client queries under guidance.
  • Assist with larger audit assignments, completing allocated sections thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Design, execute, and document moderately complex audit tests.
  • Prepare audit files to the agreed completion stage.

About You

  • Experience with statutory audits in an accountancy practice (essential).
  • AAT part/fully qualified or ACA part-qualified (essential).
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
  • Strong client-facing skills and familiarity with audit software and Microsoft Office.
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to develop professionally.
