A leading and award-winning accountancy firm is looking for a talented Audit Semi Senior to join its growing Audit Team in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA / ACCA-qualified (or part-qualified) professional with strong technical skills and experience leading, or taking a lead role, in an audit team.

THE ROLE:

As a Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to deliver statutory audit and other assurance engagements to our clients. You will work as part of a team to deliver our uniquely personal and proactive service, upholding the highest standards in client service. You will:

  • Work with an expansive and varied client base, including a number of large corporate clients and groups with turnover up to £500m.
  • Work on all aspects of statutory audit engagements, from planning through to completion, and will also be involved in the preparation and review of group and single entity financial statements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop new trainees.
  • Benefit from investment in coaching and developing you, with direct support from qualified staff and one-to-one support from the Manager team.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Be ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or AAT qualified with relevant audit experience.
  • Have prior experience in audit and accounts, with a strong emphasis on audit work.
  • Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Be commercially aware, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Be a natural team player with a positive and professional approach.
