We are seeking an experienced and qualified or part-qualified Audit Senior to join a well-established accountancy practice in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious audit professional to further their career in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit assignments for clients across a wide range of industries
  • Take responsibility for client management, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining strong relationships
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, offering guidance and support
  • Assist with accounts preparation as part of the broader audit role
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of clients' businesses to provide tailored advice and value-added recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with clients throughout the audit process, providing clear and professional guidance

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA qualified (or part-qualified with significant audit experience)
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting functions
  • Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks in a client-driven environment
