We are seeking an experienced and qualified or part-qualified Audit Senior to join a well-established accountancy practice in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious audit professional to further their career in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit assignments for clients across a wide range of industries
- Take responsibility for client management, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining strong relationships
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, offering guidance and support
- Assist with accounts preparation as part of the broader audit role
- Gain an in-depth understanding of clients' businesses to provide tailored advice and value-added recommendations
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the audit process, providing clear and professional guidance
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA qualified (or part-qualified with significant audit experience)
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting functions
- Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships
- A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks in a client-driven environment
