Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing accountancy firm, has a rare opportunity to join their audit team in Peterborough at Senior level.

As an Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in leading audits for a wide range of clients across various industries, including owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, multinational companies, charities, not-for-profits, and academies.

You will be responsible for overseeing audits from planning to completion, working both in the office and on-site at client premises.

In this role, you will:

- Lead audits from initial planning to final completion, ensuring deadlines and budget requirements are met- Oversee fieldwork, managing audit teams at client sites and within the office- Coach and mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development- Present audit findings to managers, providing commercially viable recommendations- Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and tax computations- Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending post-audit meetings- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures

To succeed in this role, you'll need:- ACA or ACCA qualified with at least three years of experience in a UK accountancy practice- Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102- Proven experience in conducting and completing audits across various industries- Competence in Microsoft Office and accounting software- Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure while delivering high-quality work- Strong communication skills and a commitment to first-class client service- A valid driving license and access to transport, as audits are frequently conducted at client premises
