As a Business Services Semi Senior, you will join a collaborative and dynamic team, working with a diverse portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, assisting with VAT returns, and supporting clients with management accounts and other ad-hoc queries. This role offers an excellent pathway for professional growth, with full study support and a commitment to your development.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within a UK Practice environment and a desire to excel within an established yet progressive firm. Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Supporting clients with management accounts and ad-hoc financial queries.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure compliance with regulations and deadlines.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
  • AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA student (or equivalent), or qualified by experience.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with accountancy software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and professional development.
