What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage and maintain our clients' financial records using top-notch accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
- Process accounts payable and receivable from start to finish, ensuring everything is in perfect order.
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheets, and assist in preparing management accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare insightful forecasts to keep our finances on track.
- Â Assist in creating budgets and financial statements while ensuring VAT preparation is smooth sailing.
- Be the go-to person for answering client queries, providing top-tier support when needed.
Who we are looking for:
- Proficiency in accounting software and a flair for technology.
- Familiarity with eCommerce systems like Shopify, Stripe, and PayPal is a big plus!
- A solid understanding of bookkeeping processes and VAT regulations.
- An eagle eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills to engage with internal teams and clients.
- Fully AAT qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year in an accountancy practice.
