Description
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
- Analysis and interpretation of financial data to guide strategic decisions
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledgers and journals
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Collaborating with other departments to improve financial procedures
- Advising on cost reduction and revenue enhancement strategies
Profile
A successful 'Management Accountant' should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks
