roster Buchanan are recruiting for a Management Accountant to be based near Peterborough, 4 days office, 1 from home.This role is to be based on site and working with the Finance Manager and multiple departments.Key Responsibilities:

Production of timely and accurate weekly and monthly accounts and financial analysis, including commentary
Assisting in preparation of the monthly forecast, annual plan and 3-year planning
Ensuring strong financial controls exist, including stock management and allocation, self-billing of invoices, and 3rd party stock management
Capex opportunities
Controlling and challenging operational overhead spend to identify opportunities for savings and mitigation to prevent overspend
To deliver financial training to non-finance stakeholders
Continuous improvement
Support of Stock Management
Challenging track requests for all costs
Completing monthly accruals

Person Specification;

CIMA (or equivalent) Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant
Business partnering experience
Strong analytical mind set and variance analysis skills
Strong Excel skills required
Good stakeholder management with strong communication skills
Ability to influence at all levels
Operational knowledge desirable

Salary: Circa £45,000
