Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, a market leading logistics business, is looking for an experienced management accountant to play a key role in providing financial insights and support key decisions to promote business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- The preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to monitor financial performance
- Analyse financial data, monitor risk and identify trends which could promote business growth.
- Ensure accurate cash flow forecasts and manage working capital effectively.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial guidance and support business operations.
About you:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA active studier which the plan to become qualified
- Experienced management accountant with strong understanding of accounting financial reporting and principles
- Advanced excel ability, as well as experience with accounting system
- A proactive and adaptable approach with a strong desire to improve financial processes
- Logistics experience is desirable
