**Two days only a week**Flexible**Annual bonus**Free Parking**The Part-Time Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting function within the finance department. This role requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Fully Qualified or Qualified by Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MS Teams, Excel, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours: 

  • Two full days within the business
