Role Responsibilities
  • Preparing statutory accounts and tax computations for a range of healthcare clients
  • Completing VAT returns and monthly management accounts
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and offering constructive feedback
  • Directly resolving more complex queries with clients and providing practical solutions
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff and supporting their development
  • Managing deadlines and delivering assignments within budgeted timeframes

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualification (essential)
  • Experience working in practice with a portfolio that includes healthcare clients (essential)
  • Strong working knowledge of VAT and tax compliance
  • Confidence in client-facing situations, with strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Online
  • A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
