Are you an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer? Can you read Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic diagrams? Are you looking for a service role in the wind turbine sector?


Are you from an Ex-Forces, Agricultural, HGV, Plant, or similar service or maintenance background, looking to start a fantastic new career as a Wind Turbine Technician?

On offer is the opportunity to join a Global OEM as a Service Technician where you will service and maintain industrial wind turbines where you will receive OEM and recognised industry specific training and have a focus on your personal and technical development.


This is a physically demanding job working at heights, requiring good levels of personal fitness where you will conduct a range of fault finding and maintenance tasks on wind turbines.

This large multi-national and have numerous turbine sites across the UK & Ireland and employ 13,000+ globally. Due to continued growth and expansion are looking for their next hire based at their Peterborough Site, covering their South East region.

You will work as part of a maintenance team and will cover sites across the region, the right candidate will ideally be based within 1 hour from the Peterborough Service Point.

This role would suit an Electrical or Mechanically skilled individual from either an Ex-Forces/REME, Agricultural, HGV, Plant, Maintenance, or similar background looking for a mobile role with OEM training, technical development, with fantastic routes of career progression with an industry recognised multi-national wind turbine company.

The Person:

  • Electrical or Mechanical skills
  • Hydraulics skills (Desirable but not essential)
  • Good levels of personal fitness/able to pass a Working at Heights Medical (Chester step test)
  • Commutable distance to Peterborough Service point
  • Ex Forces candidates are encouraged to apply and will be provided training (REME, RAF, Marines, Navy etc).
