Remediation Engineer

Our client is a leading Civil, Earthworks and Groundworks contractor with an enviable reputation for safety, quality and delivery.

Due to continued work wins and a sustainable growth period our client is now keen to identify Remediation Engineer.

Approximately one year on a contract basis our client requires an independent and consultative Remediation Engineer who is well versed in large bulk earthworks and/or muck-shift schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Assessments and Investigations:

  • Conducting field investigations and collecting samples to assess contamination levels in soil, groundwater, and sediments.
  • Evaluating the extent and nature of contamination.
  • Developing remediation strategies based on site-specific conditions and regulatory requirements

• Technical Reporting and Compliance:

  • Preparing technical reports documenting site assessments, remediation plans, and project progress.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
  • Monitoring remediation effectiveness and ensuring long-term site stability.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Working with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Communicating technical information clearly and effectively.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geology, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Experience in environmental site assessments, remediation project management, and/or environmental consulting.
