My client, a driven and dynamic brand, is looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity that offers a flexible working arrangement (either full-time or 25-30 hours part time per week). As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance department. You will work closely with various teams to ensure smooth and efficient financial processes.This role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours (25-30 hours per week), so we can accommodate the right candidate's schedule. YOU WILL BE:

  • Process and maintain accurate financial records, including invoicing, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely payments are made.
  • Support the preparation of VAT returns and other compliance requirements.
  • Assist with payroll administration and liaising with external payroll providers.
  • Monitor and update financial data in the company’s accounting software.
  • Handle general accounting queries and provide support to internal teams.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes.

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Proven experience in an accounts administration or finance role, ideally within a similar office-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (experience with accounting software is a plus).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with financial data.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
