My client, a driven and dynamic brand, is looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join their growing team. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance department. You will work closely with various teams to ensure smooth and efficient financial processes.This role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours (25-30 hours per week), so we can accommodate the right candidate's schedule. YOU WILL BE:
- Process and maintain accurate financial records, including invoicing, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely payments are made.
- Support the preparation of VAT returns and other compliance requirements.
- Assist with payroll administration and liaising with external payroll providers.
- Monitor and update financial data in the company’s accounting software.
- Handle general accounting queries and provide support to internal teams.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes.
YOU WILL HAVE:
- Proven experience in an accounts administration or finance role, ideally within a similar office-based environment.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (experience with accounting software is a plus).
- High attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with financial data.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
