No prior driving experience is required, although previous driving experience is considered desirable, and a good understanding of the local area is advantageous.
Drivers will work on a self-employed basis with flexible schedules available, ranging from 1 to 6 days per week, including weekends.

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Multi Drop Drivers to join a reputable client in Peterborough. You will join the company as a self-employed driver and be part of a dynamic team, ensuring parcels are delivered safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Delivering parcels to multiple locations across Peterborough and surrounding areas, ensuring each package reaches the correct recipient.
Loading and unloading parcels safely and ensuring they are handled with care
Using GPS and tracking systems to record deliveries and update statuses.
Operating the delivery vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations
Engaging with customers professionally during deliveries

As a Delivery Driver, our client offers:

Competitive pay: up to £165 per day
Owner driver welcome / van rental available which includes all insurances
No van deposit or upfront costs
All fuel cost is covered by us, fuel cards provided
Weekly Pay
Pre-planned delivery routes between 8 and 9 hours (arrive at station, load and go within 15 minutes)
Additional performance incentives and reward scheme in place - earn up to an extra £27/day
Flexible schedule - work 1-6 days available per week, including weekends (you can choose your own days)
Full-time / part-time hours available
Full uniform provided free of charge
Paid training
Additional seasonal incentives
Support from a professional accountancy company (invoices, registering for an UTR, VAT etc.)
These roles are on a self-employed basis

What are we looking for?

No experience required
You will need a UK or EU Driving Licence
Full manual driving license (held for at least 1 years, with no more than 6 penalty points).
Must be 21+ for insurance purposes
Previous driving experience desirable
Hard-working, motivated, and great at working in a fast-paced environment
A good understanding of the local area would be an advantage
Pass a DBS check and drugs/alcohol test (covered by the company).
