Class 1 Driver
Here at HireGiant Ltd we are looking for a Class 1 driver to join our well-established client based in Peterborough Area.
This particular company are well known locally, having operated in the area for over 30+ years. This haulage company is a leader in its field across the UK with its end to end solution, this company delivers its own products so keeps all of its operations under one roof.
The Role:
The Class 1 driver will be required to work Monday to Friday on days, the work will involve flat bed deliveries of products to business in the local and surrounding areas. The driver will do anything from 2-10 drops per day. As a professional Class 1 driver you are required to always ensure your load on your truck is fully secured and that you maintain a high H&S standard. Whilst on duty and in charge of your HGV 1 vehicle you must always uphold the highest standard of driving and WTD rules.
Requirements for this role:
The Class 1 Driver will require:
C+E entitlement on their licence
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
Must be able to strap securely
Hours & Pay:
Class 1 driver will start work Monday to Friday
Start time: 06:00am (08:00 first day for induction)
Pay rate: PAYE - £16.00 per hour
