Job Title: Class 1 Driver (Multi-Drop)
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £15.28 per hour
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM, Monday to Friday
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team in Peterborough. This is a multi-drop role that involves delivering and making approximately 10 collections per day. You will also behandling a mixture of palletised and loose loads. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with self-loading and managing deliveries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering to customers- Palletised and loose loads
- Completing around 10 collections per day across Peterborough and surrounding areas.
- Handling both palletised and loose loads, ensuring safe and secure transport.
- Self-loading goods onto the vehicle.
- Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to various locations.
- Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhering to road safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) license.
- Must have 12 months experience of driving a class 1.
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries.
- Ability to handle a mixture of palletised and loose loads.
- Comfortable with self-loading and managing deliveries independently.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
