Sonic Summary

The job is for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers with at least 1 year of driving experience required.
The position is based in Peterborough and involves trunking goods throughout the UK for a leading parcel distribution company.
Drivers will work Monday to Friday, with a start time of 9am and a finish around 5:45pm, and will be guaranteed 8 hours paid per shift.
The pay rate is £15.25 per hour, with overtime after 8 hours paid at £22.92.
Applicants must hold a valid UK Driving Licence with C+E category, a valid CPC & Tacho Card, and have no more than 6 points on their license.

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers on behalf of our client in Peterborough, PE73.

We require Class 1 HGV Drivers to work on going basis Monday to Friday. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods throughout the UK.

Role of a Class 1 HGV driver

Working at one of the leading parcel distribution companies in the UK
Trunking work depot to depot.
Monday to Friday.
Start time 9am-5:45pm.
Collections (self load).
Box trailers.
Overtime payable after 8 hours.

As a Class 1 HGV driver you will need to have:

Valid UK Driving Licence with C+E Category
Valid CPC & Tacho Card
No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
Drivers with a minimum 12-months tacho history will be required to complete assessment and induction.

Pay rates for Class 1 HGV driver:

Basic - £15.25

OT after 8h - £22.92

No LTD accepted

Guaranteed 8hrs paid per shift
