24-7 Recruitment Services is hiring Class 2 HGV drivers for home deliveries in the Peterborough area, requiring a minimum of 6 months of experience.
The position involves manual handling and a multi-drop shift pattern of 4 on 2 off or 5 on 2 off, including weekends.
Drivers will earn £16.11 per hour, with overtime paid at £24.16 after 48 hours per week.
Candidates must hold a valid Class 2/C license, Tacho and CPC cards, and have no more than 6 penalty points.
Immediate starts are available, with benefits including weekly pay, 28 days of accrued annual leave, and referral bonuses.

CLASS 2 HGV DRIVERS

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV drivers for a well known client based in the Peterborough area (PE7) - Home deliveries with driver's mate, manual handling/lifting is part of the job.

This position is a multi-drop position

Shift pattern is:

4 on 2 off on / 5on 2off - a rota pattern including weekends.

PAYE rates for Class 2 HGV driver:

£ 16.11per hour

Overtime paid after 48 weekly hours: £ 24.16

Class 2 drivers will be required:

*MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*

Hold valid a Class 2 / C License
No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
Immediate starts available
Home delivery of furniture
Some furniture assembly work will be required (as and when required)
Must be presentable in appearance
Professional manner as customer facing
Class 2 driver will undergo 2 days training prior to commencing work
All routes are double manned with a drivers mate
