Area to be covered: National (must live 1:30 from PE postcode) 60% home / office based 40% on the roadRemuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 + uncapped commission giving OTE £80,000 Benefits: £500 monthly car allowance or electric / hybrid company car & benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Non-Mechanical Plant & Equipment will involve:
- Field sales position selling the hire & sale of non-mechanical plant & equipment such as: temporary access, ground protection, specialist construction products, trench covers, ground reinforcement & stabilization, trench shoring systems, site security & traffic management
- All of your time will be spent selling to hire companies, civil engineering companies, groundworkers, main contractors, sub-contractors, merchants, resellers, events managers, end-users and distributors
- For example: Sunbelt, HSS Hire, Marwood and Glastonbury
- Order values ranging from £5k-£10k to £100+
- No target set in stone however to give you a flavour can could be circa £500k-£750k
- Good blend of account management and new business
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager - Non-Mechanical Plant & Equipment with:
- Must have construction sales or hire experience
- Must have sold to some of the varied route to market for example: hire companies, civil engineering companies, groundworkers, main contractors, sub-contractors, merchants, resellers, events managers, end-users and distributors
- Ideally sold related products such as: temporary access, ground protection, specialist construction products, trench covers, ground reinforcement & stabilization, trench shoring systems, site security & traffic management
- Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and determined
- Looking for a long term career opportunity
