Reed Marketing & Creative have been briefed on a really exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing to join this established training business in Peterborough, to head up their marketing and continue to look at how the business can grow.

Do you thrive in a fast pace and want to have strategic and operational view of the marketing department and see how new ideas will give the business further growth?

The business are going from strength to strength; and a very marketing centric business who throw decent budget at that area; they just need someone with fresh new ideas and a new energy to come in and take marketing to the next level.
Duties include:
* Team management and growth
* Creating and executing marketing plans and strategy for the next 1-5 years
* Being at the forefront of new technology, platforms and ways to promote and engage new audiences
* Digitally focused - no traditional or print marketing, so to understand most aspects of the digital landscape
* Integrate fully into the business and work across multiple brands
* Presenting and reporting back to the business on success, plans and budgets
This role is a big opportunity; it isn't one to sit back and let things happen - this is about making them happen!! You'll have creative freedom to look at new areas to move into but also to strategically look at current risks and to even those out across all marketing areas. It is a rewarding business with support from the top; but you must be able to hold your own and have a passion and energy that fizzes out into the office!
Who are you? The successful candidate is innovative, creative and passionate. You don't need to do the day to day duties within marketing as the wider team have this under control; but more you see the greater goal and look at new ways to increase leads and business. You come from a fast moving and changing environment; it could be a tech start-up, e-commerce or FMCG. You might already look to the US to see what they are doing to be ahead of the game in your specialism!
This business are based in Peterborough with a free parking space. Salary is generous dept on experience. The biggest thing about this is the opportunity itself - you get to totally own it and run it!
