We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join our team in Peterborough. This role is ideal for a confident, enthusiastic individual with a background in Non-Ferrous metal sales, looking to work alongside an existing sales team in a dynamic and busy office environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Develop a thorough understanding of our products to effectively communicate with clients.
- Quote prices, check stock quantities, and ensure product specifications meet client orders.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities.
- Operate in a business-to-business marketplace, primarily selling to engineering and manufacturing companies, ensuring reliable delivery and processing of materials.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proven experience and knowledge of steel, Non-Ferrous metals, and both imperial and metric measurements.
- Industry knowledge is highly advantageous.
- Ability to understand and cater to a varied client base.
- Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
- Competitive base salary with the potential to earn up to £35,100 with bonuses.
