Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage Marketplace Accounts: Oversee and optimise product listings on various platforms, ensuring high visibility and conversion rates.
  • Sales Performance Optimisation: Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
  • Product Listing Management: Regularly create and update listings to maintain competitiveness and attractiveness.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability, considering full platform marketing costs.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels and fulfilment KPIs.
  • Advertising & Promotions: Lead advertising campaigns and promotional activities to boost sales, working in conjunction with external agencies.
  • Customer Service: Manage marketplace-related customer enquiries and feedback to maintain high seller ratings.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure all marketplace activities adhere to platform guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports on marketplace performance, offering actionable insights and strategic plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3-5 years in marketplace management, especially on platforms like Amazon and eBay.
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen, SEO for e-commerce, data analytics, and online advertising expertise.
  • Tools & Software: Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, inventory management systems, and data analytics tools like Excel and Google Analytics.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Traits: Highly organised, analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
