The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strong leader with excellent commercial acumen, a deep understanding of the Industrial Distribution industry and the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.

Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to exceed performance targets and drive customer engagement.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Sales Performance & Reporting: Track and analyse sales performance metrics, provide regular reports to senior management, and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer solutions.

Proven experience in leading a Sales team to success, achieving high productivity levels and driving growth

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop sales team through coaching and mentoring
- Ability to assess and use data to identify key trends in the market, and use to the businesses advantage
- History of selling Components to industrial sectors would be advantageous
