Sales Administrator - Peterborough - 25/28k
ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator in the Peterborough area with immediate effect, for our growing client who lead their market.
Purpose: Support the sales growth across the business by proactive excellent communication with customers, promoting the brand, and implementing the sales strategy across telephone calls, promotions, trade shows, retail shows, website, face to face contact and other sales opportunities
Reporting to: - The Sales and Marketing Manager

The Role
To ensure the entire brand experience for trade and retail contacts is customer focused, efficient and effective to maximise sales.
- Provide efficient and timely responses to all sales enquiries from various channels such as phones, emails and websites
- Participate in the sales growth, generating ideas and looking at ways to increase Turnover and profit.
- Maintaining sales reports and analysing figures as instructed by the Sales Manager
- To attend UK and International Trade and Retail Shows to ensure that the full potential is achieved from the show
- To attend meetings with existing and potential customers
- To look at new avenues of providing growth
- Generate leads and ensure that all leads are fully followed
- Regular contact with exisiting customers to build strong rapport and generate future business.
Skills Required
- Passionate about sales and customer service
- Detailed oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
- Motivated by Sales with an eye for opportunities, good trading instinct, a desire to succeed
- Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
- Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
- Maintain staff confidentiality
- Working knowledge of Email, Microsoft word and Excel
- Great team player and contributor to a wider management team
Experience
Relevant experience in a sales environment would be an advantage, but aptitude for sales is more important, and a willingness to learn, with strong admin skills.
Excellent computer skills
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, comfortable talking to customers face to face and on the phone.
