Rate: £55 - £60 p/h (Inside IR35)

About the Role
Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer / Civil Engineer to join their team in Peterborough. This role will focus on delivering technical expertise for AMP8 contracts across the UK, ensuring high-quality design solutions in water infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead a team in undertaking technical design work in compliance with relevant design standards and codes.
·Prepare design briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
·Effectively manage time and budgets, ensuring alignment with key project milestones and programme deadlines.
·Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the UK and overseas to deliver integrated and innovative design solutions.
·Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards in all design outputs.
Skills & Experience Required
·Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE or equivalent).
·Proven experience in pipeline design delivery
·Strong technical knowledge of hydraulics, pipeline materials, pipe restraint and jointing, bedding, and UTX.
·Proficiency in digital analysis tools, including HADES, InfoWorks, EPANET, and adherence to local and national design guidance.
·Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor junior engineers.
