This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformational infrastructure programmes in the UK, with a focus on pipeline engineering. The role offers the chance to work on high-profile engineering projects both nationally and internationally, shaping the future of water transmission solutions across multiple sectors, including Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Urban Development.Key Responsibilities include:
  • Lead and manage a team to deliver high-quality technical design work, adhering to relevant design standards and codes.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposals for new projects.
  • Ensure successful time and budget management to meet project milestones and programme schedules.
  • Collaborate with UK-based and overseas teams to develop integrated design solutions.
  • Uphold quality assurance standards throughout all phases of design.
Requirements
  • Chartered Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years' post-chartered experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in pipeline design delivery and leading multidisciplinary design resources.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pipe restraint and jointing, pipeline materials, bedding, and under-track crossings (UTX).
  • Proficiency in digital analysis tools, such as HADES, InfoWorks, and EPANET, with a strong understanding of local and national design guidelines.
Additional Information
  • Expenses Covered: Yes (for site visits); No (for normal commute).
  • Notice Period: 2 weeks (both for contractor and employer).
  • Vetting Level: Ideally C-Level, but will depend on the role requirements.
