The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Civil Pipeline Engineer to join a leading Engineering consultancy based in Peterborough.

Job Overview:

Bring your skills to the mix as a Senior Civil Pipeline Engineer, you'll play a vital role in every aspect of pipeline engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in all aspects of water engineering within the sector whilst also delivering water engineering into multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy and Cities & Development.

We continue to provide industry-leading water transmission solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. If being a part of a team with a passion for this industry is for you then we would love to talk to you.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in pipeline design delivery, including engagement of multidisciplinary design resources.
  • Sound knowledge of hydraulics, pipe restraint and jointing, pipeline materials, bedding and UTX.
  • Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance. eg HADES, Inforworks, EPANET.
