Project Surveyor – Damp, Mould & DisrepairLocation: Flexible (with travel as required)Salary: Competitive, DOEAre you passionate about providing high-quality housing solutions and ensuring safe, comfortable living environments? Do you have experience in project management, construction, and building maintenance? If so, we’d love for you to join our clients team as a Project Surveyor focusing on damp, mould, and disrepair.What You’ll Do:As a Project Surveyor, you’ll be the technical expert in diagnosing and resolving issues related to damp, mould, and disrepair, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards. You’ll conduct inspections, diagnose root causes, and specify remedial works while engaging closely with residents to prevent recurrence and improve housing quality. You’ll also:
  • Provide expert advice and support to both residents and colleagues.
  • Ensure swift responses to repair claims, focusing on resolution and resident satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with contractors, manage budgets, and maintain compliance with planning regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Oversee and mentor junior team members to support their development.
What You’ll Bring:
  • HNC in Building Studies or equivalent experience (degree preferred).
  • Experience in managing building projects from inception to completion, including budget management and contractor oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of construction technology, health & safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • A full UK driving license and the flexibility to work outside regular hours as required.
