JOB TITLE Estates Team Member Maintenance

RESPONSIBLE TO Estates Manager

LOCATION Peterborough

TERMSFull time- 40 hours per week

RATE 12.25 per hour

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • To provide general assistance in the repair and maintenance of PJ Care property as required.
  • To liaise with contractors on site.
  • To regularly check and maintain all interior lighting replacing bulbs and lamps as required.
  • To complete all tasks on the maintenance job sheets and complete within a timely fashion.
  • To obtain Purchase Orders for any purchases from a nominated supplier
  • To maintain all furniture, carrying out repairs as required.
  • To redecorate where necessary to keep the interiors bright and fresh.
  • To maintain in clean and serviceable condition all mechanical and manual equipment provided for the maintenance of the units.
  • To maintain and regularly empty any waste compactor and prepare waste bins for collection.
  • The right candidate is required to be part of the oncall rota to provide out of hours maintenance.

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full DBS required.
  • Full UK Driving licence required.
  • To be aware of the requirements of all relevant legislation, having particular regard for the following practices:
  • Fire Safety
  • Manual Handling
  • Health and Safety
  • CoSHH
  • Infection Control
