Join our dynamic team at a leading company as a Business Development Executive. This role is crucial for driving the sales and growth of our branded products across diverse distribution channels and markets. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, focusing on maximising strategic commercial opportunities to ensure continued growth in the Brand division.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare and present internal sales presentations, including brand sales summaries and reports.
  • Engage in meetings with new and existing customers, both online and in person.
  • Present pricing and business terms to new and existing customers.
  • Attend networking events, including conferences and trade shows.
  • Research and identify opportunities in new and existing markets.
  • Conduct strategic reviews of commercial opportunities in conjunction with the Business Development Manager.
  • Understand sales KPIs and work towards achieving them by brand and customer.
  • Regularly update pricelists and clearance lists in line with business direction.
  • Develop and maintain a list of current and prospective customers.
  • Manage forecasts with the Business Development Manager.
  • Coordinate product setup processes, including New Line Forms.
  • Organise events such as conferences and territory visits with the wider team.
  • Manage the registration process for international customers, including documentation management.
  • Oversee the labelling process for international customers.
  • Support the NPD process for Off Price International customers.
  • Process sample orders for Brand Business Development Managers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Commercial acumen with a track record of monitoring and achieving KPIs.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative work ethic with a commitment to shared goals and aspirations.
  • Agility and resilience to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Independent decision-making and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to interpret trends, analytics, and analysis to produce reports.
  • Degree preferred or equivalent intellectual ability demonstrated through experience or testing.
  • High level of numeracy.
  • FMCG brand experience in the health and beauty industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Full Driving Licence and within one hour’s commute of Peterborough
