PSR are working with a leading main contractor, specialising in Water Infrastructure who are looking to build on their existing teams with an environment built for career progression.
The responsibilities of this Electrical Site Supervisor role include overseeing electrical work and site electricians, scoping sites and ordering materials, issuing permits and ensuring electrical safety rules are followed.
Key responsibilities as a Site Supervisor
- Ensure all paperwork is completed as required
- Completed permits and RAMS which will be audited on-site inspections
- Ensure all drawings are procured and issued to site teams for commencement of work
- Visit sites before schemes start to measure up and order materials.
- Liaise with project teams on time frame and labour requirements.
- Write RAMS for jobs.
- Collate site M&E drawings
Essentials as a Site Supervisor
- Understanding of permit systems
- Good understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
- Experience in scoping jobs and ordering materials
- Ability to read electrical drawings, panel drawings and wiring diagrams
- Industrial M&E Knowledge
- 18th edition (Apprenticeship) qualified electrician
- CSCS ECS card
- Test and Inspection (2391 or equivalent)
