Workshop Manager required for my client who work within the automotive industry, based in Peterborough.
The successful workshop production manager will join a successful and established organisation split across 3 sites - that produce emergency vehicles.
Workshop Manager Job Overview
- Reporting directly to the owner of the company.
- Responsible for the efficiency of multiple production teams across 3 sites.
- Managing the production managers at the different sites
- Liaise between the Sales director and the various individual workshop managers to ensure they have the appropriate drawings / specifications, stock and resources to meet vehicle build deadlines.
- Overall managing 100 technicians.
- Responsible for conversion and production processes.
- Procuring factory production equipment and taking responsibility for its maintenance.
- Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
Workshop Manager Job Requirements
- Previous managerial experience within an automotive or manufacturing field
- 5 + years' experience working as a workshop / production manager.
- Work independently when needed and have good team communication skills.
- Based within a commutable distance of Peterborough.
- Full UK driving licence.
Workshop Manager Salary & Benefits
- Salary - 55,000 - dependent upon experience.
- Full time position - 44 hour working week.
