Nene Park Trust manages over 1,725 acres of land west of Peterborough, including a 500 acre country park at Ferry Meadows, and a number of other informal green spaces.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Development Team, managing the iconic Lakeside Activity Centre project and leading its delivery. As Project Manager, you will collaborate with senior leaders at the Trust to refine the business model, explore and test evolving options, engage with strategic funders to finalise agreements, and be the key liaison with our construction partners as we move into the build phase.

This fixed-term role will encompass a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:

  • Lead the support for all stages of the project, including fundraising, procurement, reporting, site supervision, business case development and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, partners, and professionals to ensure the project's successful completion.
  • Apply a structured and professional project management approach to delivering the largest project the organisation has ever embarked on.

In addition, the ideal candidate will naturally demonstrate the following characteristics:

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Effective persuading, communicating and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and adapt to changes in projects, priorities and project roles

This role is based at our head office in Ferry Meadows - Ham Farm House, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU, with the ability to undertake the role with hybrid home-working (minimum 2 days/week in the office). This is a fixed-term post for 18 months, working 30-37.5 hours a week.
